Royal British Legion, Wymondham Branch

The Royal British Legion is there to support those who are still serving, veterans and their families.  To be a member of the British Legion you don't have to have served in the military and all ages are welcome to join. Another misconception is the British Legion only work for the two week period in November during the Poppy Appeal. The British legion actually works 365 days a year giving support to those who require it.

The Wymondham Branch meets on a monthly basis at the Wymondham & District Ex Service's Social Club on the third Monday of the month except August. The meetings take the form of formal and social (games nights, quizzes and talks). The branch will be seen at various times this year at various events, D-Day 80, (Market Place), 389th Memorial Exhibition and Old Buckenham Air Show as well as the Poppy Appeal later in the year.
