Wymondham Lace Group
Overview
We meet on the third Saturday of the month in the room at the rear of the library, 10am to 3pm. All levels of ability make up the group, all sharing a love of handmade lace. A moderate annual subscription covers the cost of the room hire.
There is no formal teaching within the group but beginners are most welcome to join us and we will happily help them to get started and progress. At times, we are also able to help with supply of the equipment a new lacemaker will need to get started.
Once a year we organise a weekend away, in Norfolk, for a lace retreat.
We are part of the wider Norfolk Lacemakers community, a group consisting of all the Norfolk lace groups, meeting up bi-monthly in Norwich.
