Wymondham Tennis Club
Description
Wymondham Tennis Club was formed in the early 1970's & was based at Browick Road, it moved to Ketts Park in 2003 with 3 courts. In 2022, after a Covid delay, the courts were refurbished with a 4th court added with LED floodlights installed, the improvement project was completed in Spring 2024 with a new modular clubhouse replacing a 40 year old portacabin.
All members can book a court for free all year round; as a full member of Wymondham Tennis Club you can do this up to 14 days in advance & if lights are required the cost is reduced. In addition you can attend club social sessions which are currently Mondays, 10am - 12 noon; Tuesdays & Fridays from 6 - 8pm which are a great opportunity to play with a wide range of other players. The club is running a singles league & has 5 teams in local leagues if you like competitive tennis; social tournaments, usually at weekends, are held through the summer months. Also by joining you become a British Tennis Member which gives access to the Wimbledon ballot.
A senior membership is £90 per year, less than £2 per week; an additional household member can be added for £35. There are also student & junior memberships available.
