Wymondham Town United FC
Description
The club was found by Andy Mitchell in 1995 as Silfield United FC for the children of Wymondham and started to grow year in year out.
The club quickly grew over the next few years until 1999 when the club moved from Silfield to its current ground Ketts Park and moving into the centre of Wymondham a decision was made to change the clubs name from Silfield United FC to Wymondham Town United FC.
The club was able to secure some funding in 2002 for them to add a building to Ketts park to help with the continued growth of the club as it continued to grow with offering football to children of Wymondham.
The club has continued season on season to grow and in 2017 was able to secure funding for a full size 3G pitch which was completed in 2018 ready for the club to start to use.
The club launched the wild cat’s session at the club in 2018 and quickly realised that offering girls only football was another option for the club and has now six girls only teams playing at the club and is growing season on season.
