Beginners Pottery Class

Warning! Starting this therapeutic hobby will turn you into a pottery addict! Led by our expert tutor Sarah, you will learn the art of pottery making in more depth. From preparing the clay to tools you need, Sarah will guide and support you throughout the two and a half hour session introducing beginners to throwing, slabbing, pinchpots and coiling. This class is perfect for those looking for a hands-on experience that will allow you to create beautiful pieces using clay. Our class includes all tools, equipment, and materials, so you don’t need to worry about anything. We’ll fire your work for you, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to perfect your craft. 

The two-hour and a half hour session includes 10 minutes of cleaning up time at the end of the class. Let your imagination run wild and create your very own unique ceramics. This class includes a free glazing session for you to complete and bring your ceramics to life.

This class runs continuously every Wednesday at 10am and is bookable in flexible blocks including free glaze week. We never charge for ones you can’t attend.
