Voces del Camino short choral concert

A short recital by a mixed a cappella choir
Voces del Camino.

This choir was formed by the late Nigel Perrin in 2015 to realise his long-cherished ambition to travel with a group of invited singers along the Camino de Santiago pilgrim route in northern Spain. Since then, the choir has made four tours to Spain, to walk different sections of the Camino and to give recitals in cathedrals and churches along the route. Sacred choral music from the Spanish and English renaissance has been at the heart of the repertoire, with complementary contemporary pieces. Nigel passed away in June 2024 and this tour is being organised as a memorial to him and to Sue Phelps, one of the organisers and founder members.
