Wymondham Choral Society Christmas Concert

Wymondham Choral Society will be performing their Christmas Concert at St Mary’s Church, Attleborough on Saturday 13 December at 7.30pm. 

They will be performing Benjamin Britten’s St Nicolas which is a nine-part cantata telling the life story of the saint, from his birth to his death.  The work features vivid, characterful musical depictions, including a waltz for his birth and a dramatic storm scene. We will, once again, be joined by tenor soloist, David Menezes portraying Nicolas.

After a short interval, the choir will perform carols and other seasonal music. There will be some familiar carols for the audience to join in with.
