The autumn schedule for 11 – 18 years kicks off with a six-week puppet making and film production workshop, Dungeons & Dragons and Games Club and Youth Café kitchen take over. Young people will be able to take part in a rota and be mentored by experienced caterers in creating their own snack bar menu, making cakes, brownies, smoothies and wraps, then serve their friends. Nature-themed Halloween event for all ages in the Abbey and grounds no booking required. Indoors craft activities, outdoors bat, moth and bug-hunting with Wymondham Nature Group – Wyng and Norfolk Wildlife Trust, warming homemade pumpkin soup to enjoy. There will be strange goings on at the end of October, Wymondham Heritage Museum is staging a Halloween Week with a whole range of activities and treats that will make it the spookiest of weeks! The museum will be decorated throughout, and activities include a Pumpkin Trail, Halloween Craft table, Name the Witch Competition plus Halloween treats in the Bridewell Tearoom. On Friday November 1st it’s a special Fright Night with a Dungeon Blackout, Moonlight Bat Hunts, Spooky Tours, Mystery Box Spooks, costumed characters, spooky games and more – Details here
