Writing Workshops – Finding Your Voice

Elizabeth Lewis Williams is a Norwich-based poet and teacher who runs writing workshops at Kett's Books.  After many years spent teaching in schools, she completed an MA, followed by a PhD, in Creative Writing at the UEA.  She has run workshops for the Writer’s Centre Norwich, for UEA, and as part of various book festivals, as well as delivering on-line and in-person workshops for scientific institutions and poetry groups. Her first book, Deception Island, was shortlisted for East Anglian book of the year in 2022.  Her second book, Erebus, was published in October 2022.  She is currently working on a book of creative non-fiction about ways of journeying to the Antarctic, and has recently taken on a role as one of the directors of Story Machine.
